In this project we studied how different electrical connections can do things like turn on lights or make music. We started the project by testing with batteries, wires, lights, and switches. By making a circuit, we can turn on different lights, and turn them on and off with switches. We also learned about lights (resistance) and how putting them in a row gives you a series while separating them with different wire connections makes them parallels. After we learned the more simple connections, we moved on to breadboards. Breadboards make connections simpler and more compact. The white board in the picture below is a breadboard. We learned how to use breadboards with the earlier connections we made using the wires and batteries. After that, we turned to Arduino programming, a computer coding program which using breadboards and other things can create songs and display words on a little song.
The main part of this project was to create a Robot Art show using the Arduino program, which could be a game, crazy lights, a song, words, or the combination of them all. My partner and I decided to play the Star Spangled Banner and display the words as below. We were very happy with the result although we did have a few kinks along the way. Below is our circuit diagram, our actual board, and our Arduino coding for Star Spangled Banner.

Content:
Circuits: A circuit is a closed loop of conductive material going from a positive energy source to a negative energy source.
Parallel circuit: The current has a choice between two paths with the same voltage, but different currents.
Series circuit: The current goes on only
one path.
Current: the flow of electricity through a circuit.
Resistance: the measure of how many obstacles are slowing the current. A light bulb is a resistance in a circuit.
Voltage: potential energy drop across a component of a circuit. A battery is measured by its voltage.
Breadboards: a board to make an experimental model of an electric circuit in a condensed space. We used breadboards with Arduino programming.
coding: The process of assigning a code to something to make a game, show, or music. All the websites on the internet are coded along with any games, apps, or music.

Reflection
Throughout this project, I learned a lot about time management and having a complete understanding of what is happening. I feel that my time management was not as sufficient as it could have been, and I could have worked a little faster. Also, asking more questions would have helped a little more because I wouldn't have wasted time trying to understand the more simpler things.
In future projects, I will try to give myself a time limit for a task everyday. This way if I don't finish that task in the given time I will know I am behind. I also will try and ask at least one question everyday. I feel my partner and I had good teamwork and we both made sure we were putting all the needed component on our project.
